ADPi Couture
Sisters,
One of our very own sisters, Stephanie Fornash from the chapter at Virginia Tech, is one of DC's hottest designers with her very own atelier in Georgetown. She has created this special line -- a percentage of each sale goes toward the Alpha Delta Pi Foundation and our Ronald McDonald House projects.
Happy shopping and spread the word to other sisters!

Agreed. I love them. Now that I pay for everything myself and dont have mommy to help lol I now seem to be cheap lol. Now that I have to pay for things, I dont shop as much as I used to. Maybe Ill show my mom though as a Christmas present lol.
Awesome designs though.

They are definately very pretty purses, but "ouch" when it comes to the price.
I'm sorry, no matter how pretty the purse is, it isn't really worth a $150 bucks. Plus, since only a % will be going to ADPi, still "ouch".
I wish I could support this sister in her endevour.

Random sidenote and Eta Beta chapter connection:
Grand Council member Kirsten Dolan (VP of Alumnae Affairs) was the one that approached Stephanie with this idea. Kirsten is a founding sister of Eta Beta chapter. Also, the premise was to create items that alumnae could wear/buy that didnt scream adpi (ie letters) but with which you could still represent our sorority.

No way, I had no idea that Kirsten was one of the founders of Eta Beta, that's pretty cool.
Okay, I'm at work now so I can't look, but when was Eta Beta founded?

I love the stuff, but I just can't afford it. I don't want to sound mean but not many people can afford to spend $150 on a purse. Have they thought about making "cheaper" ones? I'm not sure if you would know this HB but do you know how much of the % goes back to ADPi and RMH? Just curious.

Eta Beta was founded in 1983. Actually, minor fix, Kirsten was part of the first pledge class after the initial set of girls were selected by EO. Nevertheless, she is part of our first composite and I believe (not sure though) she went through the first initation with the founders. She came back for our 20th anniversary my senior year to run initiation. It was a great moment for the chapter and all the new deltas.

I totally agree with you that they would have better luck also marketing a cheaper line but I'm guessing the price had to be high enough so the designer got a substantial cut and ADPi got a decent amount from each purchase. I dont know the percentages but I can see if I can find out. Not sure I'd buy one of the purses, the belts are cute...
