What to get him for his birthday??

OK, so I'm stuck. I've been dating a guy for the past month and a half and things are going really well. Anyway, his birthday is this week and I have NO idea what to get him. I don't want it to be too much, nor do I want it to be not enough.

Any suggestions would be GREATLY appreciated!

No, really.

Or a nice tie and a promise to go see whatever movie/concert/show/etc he wants as long as he wears the tie.

I wouldn't do the gift card. I look at it like putting a price on a relationship. Try to come up with something fun or creative based on one of his hobbies.

If he loves baseball, take him to a game. Buy the hot dogs and beer.
If its the water, take him on a dinner cruise.
Fishing? Bite the bullet and take him. Pack a great lunch with a bottle of wine.
Golf? Sign him up for a lesson with a pro. Meet him at the driving range later.
Music? Yup, a concert.

Give us something about him to work with.
