Ok this thread is designed to sensitize you to sleep and performance. Lets try this for at least two weeks.

Here are the rules.

1. Put down the amount of hours you slept the night before (using modifiers), and then rate yourself on a scale of 1-10 on how you generally feel the next day.

2. Modifiers: If you drank alcohol that night, subtratc 1/4 from the hours of sleep. For example: 8 hours would become 6, 7 hours would become 5.

If you take a lot of stimulants (caffeine ephedrine sinus meds), or take stimulants at night, subtract one hour.

3. Just keep editing your original post to add new nights of sleep. That way the thread doesn't get cluttered.

NOTE: You don't have to tell us you drank or whatever just write down the amount of hours after modifying it

I'll go first, I had 11 hours sleep, minus 3 hours for alcohol and 1 hour for stimulants which equals:

9/16 7 hours and I feel like a 7.
9/17 7 hours feel like a 6.
9/18 3.5 hours feel like a 5.
9/19 7 hours feel like a 4.
9/20 6 hours feel like a 5.

Ok, I'll give this a try......

Last night: 9/16
Went to sleep at 3, woke up at 7... minus 1 hour for alcohol.... equals 3 hours.... And I feel like ass today.

9/17
Sleep at 12:30, up at 8:30 without any trouble! Solid 8 hours of sleep = Linz feeling GREAT!!! Feeling about like an 8 so far.

9/18
Went to bed at 1:00 am, got woken up by a drunk dial from the cute boy at 1:45, back to bed at 2:15, got up at 8 (ouch). Maybe 6.5-7 hours of sleep.... I'm sleepy but feeling good. Probably about a 7 and ready to party tonight!

MAYBE 5 hours of sleep... Tired but not feeling too bad... About a 6.

9/20
Probably a good 10 hours of sleep!! Feeling like I could go out and conquer the world right now!! (Too bad I have nothing to do today. hehehe) I feel like a 9 today.

Drink, why not, makes some of the GC posts more interesting!

Work 11 hours a day, eat, drink, GC and sleep.

9/17 4 hours, interruptions from kids, then about 2 more hours, feel like a 1 cuz I have an awful cold

i fell asleep while i was watching t.v.- at least i was in my bed. anyway, i still slept very rough. i woke up with a miserable headache that i still have. i think i slept about 7 hours. i need help. i need to find a better way to sleep!!!

Came home drunk, went to sleep at like 1030pm, woke up at 230am (damn cell phone), went back to sleep and woke up at about 9am. slept like a champ (9). feel like a CHAMP (9) !!!!!
