How often do you wear ... ?

your letters?

piphi colors?

your pin?

when & how often do you wear them?

just curious

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
i wear my lavalier (a plain silver one) on a short chain w/ a tiny tanzanite butterfly pretty often but it depends.. i'll leave it on until i change my necklace, and then i might not wear it for a while.
i also just bought those flip flops, and i'm wearing them right now
i dont wear lettered shirts as often since i dont really have very many -- one lettered tshirt, one [tiny] lettered sweatshirt from my pledge mom on initiation (she got me a KIDS MEDIUM!! ahh, im petite but i like my sweatshirts roomy! -- i roll up the sleeves and its .. ahem.. "fitted" lol. its such a pretty sweatshirt though) and some random event tee's
as for colors, i have a "silver blue" bag, and i always smile when i wear it with this "wine" skirt i have, or a "wine" shirt -- i think they match beautifully
i havent worn my pin outside of chapter though.. except for my interview for a greek honorary. sometimes i wanted to wear it when i interned at a law firm (when we'd go to court/etc and i'd wear a blazer) but then id always chicken out at the last minute.
I like how our badge is delicate and classy without being over the top... from a distance it just looks like a really really pretty pin.
Re: How often do you wear ... ?
Every Monday at school, we wear something Pi Phi - it's not a rule, but it's "reccomended". It's a good way to present the house as unified, in my opinion.
I wear my letters pretty often - I have several letter sweatshirts and constantly wear them to class, work (I teach gymnastics), practice, etc.
I can't say I wear Pi Phi colors reeeeeally often - although I do have a new silver blue-colored top from Old Navy.
When I'm at school, I wear my pin whenever I am in dressy enough clothes. I always wear it to church, too. I've always felt that this is okay because Pi Phi is based on Christian principles. Outside of school, I wear it to work whenever I remember to put it on.
I also have a silver letter disk which I never take off unless for some reason I feel the need to wear another necklace. My big sis got my disk for me and it's good luck. Or so I think.
Are any of you ladies superstitious about "double lettering"? (i.e. wearing a letter sweatshirt and lavaliere; wearing Pi Phi flip flops with a Pi Phi t-shirt, etc.) I'd never heard of this until GC.
I wear my letters every so often. Since I'm alum now I don't have school to wear them too (although now I'm going back to school I might wear them, even though it's community college), but I almost always wear my lavalier. I only take it off to drink.
I haven't worn it in a while because I took it off when I was in Cleveland at a bar and I never put it back on. I'm wearing my Maple Leaf instead.
Since I've been an alum I can honestly say I've worn my badge only twice (when helping with initiation at other chapters), but I do wear my tiny gold arrow on a chain sometimes and I have a silver bracelet with the greek letters on one side and my chapter and initation date on the other. I wear that all the time but you really have to look at it to tell what it is. I was about to say I don't ever wear our colors much but as I'm typing I realize my shirt is a nice color wine!
I like to wear my letters when it's possible....I have a grey zipper hoodie w/ my letters in purple on the back that I absolutely adore....I custom ordered it when I was a brand new PiPhi
I sometimes wear my pin when the mood strikes; I am looking forward to wearing it to alumni gatherings in the near future
I have two PiPhi necklaces: one golden lavalier and one golden chain w/ the golden crest charm on it. I alternate between both. Today was a lavalier day but I am REALLY lusting after that all diamond lavalier that's availible for special order!!!
However, if none of the above mentioned items are on my person, I STILL have something PiPhi on me: my silver angel band.
It's a tradition my chapter started doing this year after being inspired by other chapters. It's a simple silver band w/ three special letters engraved on the inside (all my PiPhi girlies know which ones ) I wear it on the middle finger of my left hand...as do 30 or so of my Beta Delta girls
letters-- less now that I am alum.. but I still sport my lettered sweatshirt or tshirts every once in a while when out.. I really need to buy a lavalier. I had a gold one but I passed it down since I dont wear gold.
Pi Phi colors.. I had a lettered tshirt in pi phi colors, but it got lost one year (it was our pledge class tshirt we all bought together)?? I keep wanting to go get another made.. maybe this year I will when I am down for football games..
Pin.. since being an alum I think I have only worn it once which is a shame.. I hadnt thought about wearing it to church. I might have to do that now..
I wear a pi phi shirt almost all the time. Its going to be REALLY tough to not wear it when I'm a recruitment counselor. We have 3 weeks (starting thursday) till I can wear letters again.
I have a lavaliere that I wore a lot but since I've been trying to cut back on wearing my letters I haven't worn it in awhile. I feel like a letter addict. I wear them constantly. Even if its my flip-flops(like the one Wine&SilverBlue bought). I also double letter all the time.
My pin I usually wear to meetings or to all-greek events that we wear pin to, like new member presentation or guest speakers or things like that. I also try to wear it every monday because like piphigirl2005 our whole chapter wears pin attire on monday to class with our pin.
I'm an old alum, so I usually just wear my old letter shirts and sweatshirts at home - so cozy, especially in winter.
My lavalier is on my charm bracelet, which I wear about once a week.
My badge usually only comes out for NPC Badge Day in March. I've been taking it out of the jewelry box (off its little pillow) more often since seeing all the pictures of other badges - not to sell it on e-bay, but seeing all the other ones reminds me how much I love my own badge.
And I have a bunch of Pi Phi pens and pencils that I got as initiation gifts that I still use 20 years later!
i wear my lavalier everyday. I've worn this diamond cut chain every day for like the past 8+ years and when i joined pi phi, i just put it on the chain so it never leaves my neck haha! Um...i don't really ever wear pi phi sweatshirts or anything...i'm too poor to buy anything! I have all of my rush shirts that i'll wear whenever, but i'm a little skeptical about buying anymore pi phi stuff b.c. i'm graduating this year, even though i'll still be a pi phi after graduation.
Hey ya
I wear my pin each monday as I go straight to meeting from class. I wear letters or t-shirts fairly often b/c I have SO many...I've been around for too long, lol. As for colors, I wear quite a bit of wine (really just one of my favorite colors) and I have a wine colored velour leisure suit.
PPL,
C.
It's harder to wear all of my Pi Phi stuff now that I'm an alum. But, I do wear my flip flops pretty often, and I leave my Bid Day fleece at my school locker to wear when I'm cold. Oh, and how could i forget? Everyday I use my name/letters messenger bag. We're not supposed to wear badges (at least from what I've observed) for clinic, and I don't dress up unless I'm doing therapy.
But, I have Pi Phi pictures all over my study carrel, so I'm sure there is NO doubt to anyone in the department what sorority I belong to.
I wear my letters as in a t-shirt once a week on t-shirt day. I also wear them to the gym and around all the time.
I don't often wear colors. I have a wine and blue sweater set, though.
I wear my pin every Monday and sometimes other days if I'm dressing up. Also for Pi Phi events and functions and to every football game.
