Donnie Darko friend my brain

My brain is fried, and I loved it. This movie is way the hell out there. I think one day I got to see The Wall, Donnie Darko, Vanilla Sky, and Muhollan Drive in a row so my brain can be more fried.

This movie was really good. Arya, you should check out a movie called Roger Dodger...not really brain frying, but it was a great film imo.

I really liked the movie. I didn't think it was that confusing at all. It didn't feel awful like Being John Malkovich which is an upsetting movie.

Donnie Darko was one of the few movies I've seen that can take humor and add other aspects and make it all work. The whole speech on the smurfs was hilarious.

Mulholland Drive is so hot. I like to watch it because it makes me feel smart.

I've wanted to see Donnie Darko for ages. No one to watch it with. =(

It's back in limited release right now. It's playing here at the campus student center theater. Did anyone see the director's cut?

I thought the additional 20 minutes of footage was completely unneccesary. Interested if anyone else has an opinion.

I like to watch films with all added material, but I thought it was great.

I've seen this movie like 5 times and still dont' understand it. I'd really like to see the directors cut in case it'll give me anymore insight. Is it worth checking out or not?

Do you really want me to explain?

I don't understand why people don't get it. Maybe if you had the DVD you could go back to certain scenes and piece it together.

Send me a PM with questions if you really just don't get it.

Yes, the directors cut explains a lot more. You get a lot of the same information from listening to the commentary track on the DVD too.
