This past year and half at Texas State University- San Marcos, I think we have done an awesome job with PR. Every Wednesday our PR VP decides on a Shirt that the whole chapter will wear to campus on wednesday (stitch letters, date party shirts, recruitment, etc.). We have gotten alot of comments from people saying how good it looks plus its nice to see all the AXIDs that are walking through campus in letters. We are now doing "just Because" shirts were we make a shirts that has our letters really bold and large on the front then a saying on the back and we get them made on bright colors that will stand out. We pass these out to all of our guys friends plus we take them to Fraternity meetings. We also hold a Battle of the Bands which was advertised on the local radio stations last year. We are now on our 2nd Annual Battle of the Bands, which we are hoping will be even bigger than last year. This past May we held our 2nd Annual Volleyball tournament which was held at one the most popular apartment complexes in town. Which was really cool because we had out our wooden letters out so eveyone that was just hanging out at the pool saw us. This year we are collabrating with Pi Kappa Phi and Rockstar Production, running a Haunted House to raise money to donate to a cause that has yet to be determined. Rockstar Production is know in our town for throwing huge events. They are promoting the whole thing for us, they are also going to be actively promoting the haunted house on campus and plan on having our letters and the Pi Kapps letter on Campus as well. Plus they are having the letters on all the fliers and the will be displayed outside the Haunted house. We also try to get our girls involved in non-greek organizations. i hope of these ideas help.
