Post Copa (Another Hair Topic)

I haven't had much time for greekchat lately, but noticed the post on hair. I apologize if my question was already addressed in the other post, but I don't have time to read through all the messages, so.......I was wondering has anyone tried the Copa hair treatment that Debbie Allen is promoting.....please let me know because I ordered it, but am nervous about using it...any comments would be appreciated.

Hello to all the ladies of DST and all SFs. I have posted here before but I don't think I greeted everyone. So sorry, so sorry.

Anywho, to DiSTinguished. Well not to scare you but my sorority sister tried the product and did not get good results at all. She tested the product on a patch of her hair (in the back) and it turned her dark brown hair to a very light hue of blonde! I saw it..it wasn't good. So just a warning, I'd test it out on your hair first. Maybe it will be ok. Here's a site you can go to called the HairWeb. There are a few comments about the product on their message boards. All I can say is if you use it, be careful!

Thumbs down

I would just be a bit nervous of using it only because it reminds me of the Rio Hair Care system. As we all remember that caused severe burns on from the scalp. Another reason is if it has been working for Debbie Allen all of these years why are we just hearing about it.

Like the other young lady said do a hair strand test prior to any use of these products. Also if you can get someone's first hand experience of the product (if possible)

My mom went through the three cycles that you're supposed to use. She has I guess you'd say light-medium coarse hair. She ran to her stylist in about 18 weeks, to get her kitchen together with a 'chemical relaxer'. While she enjoyed the body (your hair will not be stuck to your head) that the 'Copa' system allowed, her roots were still 'laughing' at her in about a week after each application. I think it truly depends on what level of 'straightness' you desire from root to tip!

Come on, now... Copa has to be Rio repackaged and milder. Even the commercial looks the same!

Let the buyer beware.
