I have collected now so many sisterhood/friendship poems it is crazy... For a while we were using them for diamond sister revealing... Also I would put them in my diamond sister's scrapbooks and I would frame them, etc... Two of my favorite poems are:
If I could catch a rainbow,
I would do it just for you
And share with you its beauty
On the days you’re feeling blue.
If I could build a mountain
You could call your very own
A place to find serenity
A place to be alone.
If I could take your troubles
I would toss them in the sea.
But all these things I’m finding
Are impossible for me.
I cannot build a mountain
Or catch a rainbow fair.
But let me be what I know best
A friend that will always care.
Sisters are not always those
whose parents are the same
Sisters are not just the ones
who share the same last name,
It's not hard to understand
you'll know them when you find
That special smile, that timely word,
that deed that was so kind.
The sisters of the flesh are
ours to cherish, help, love.
But sisters of the spirit, too,
are sent from above.
Its chance that makes us sisters.
Its love that makes us friends!
