High maintenence boyfriend/girlfriends?

How would you define a "high maintenence" significant other?

To me, high maintenance is demanding of my time, clingy and not understanding of my priorities.

high maintenance boyfriend is someone who doesnt want cheap things or on sale, always want the newest one/style out and fancy equipment, adds stuff to car and expects you to pay for them for dinner even though if you just had a salad and they had a big meal with drinks. UGH......and they always want to go out to concerts, events, movies but they dont pay for you and they expect you to pay if you go with them. I never ever date a high maintenance man! oh my fave......they think they should be number one priority.

Ha!!! I always give my boyfriend (well...we're obviously having problems if you read my posts, but...) a hard time about being high maintenance. But it isn't a bad thing. He just won't go into walmart unless there is no target anywhere around. He likes nice things. He dresses nice. Gets his eyebrows waxed. Likes to shop. Likes a nice apartment/furniture.

As I said before, it is NOT a bad thing. Its actually very funny. He's totally a metro-sexual. Though he hates it when I say that to him. Before me, he usually dated very high maintenance girls (I'm not high or low maintenance, somewhere in between).
