Girls I'm just gonna mention what I found out from Karen, who is our archivist at EO, told me that all of our pins (even the ADPhi pins) had the sisters name (used to be full name, now initials), chapter and year. Now if you all notice this pin DOES NOT have this information. Karen has said that this pin MIGHT NOT be an original pin but a sample. She also mentioned that the company that used to make our pins just recently closed, so again it could be a sample.

Now the pin is up to 355.00, honestly I say we back off. I personally believe that the high bidder will continue to bid high and win this pin.

Remember we win some, we lose some.

if sisters are all for saving it, then count me in, I am too!

I was going to mention that the enameling was kinda shaky on this, and was mentally questioning its authenticity.

So, what's the scoop? Are we going for it or not?

My vote, based on all of the above, is no.

Im out too. I just dont think this pin is as impt as we first saw it. If its just a sample, it was never anyones and never at a sorority house just a sample from the company and isnt worth getting it so high. Let the collector unless people want to keep raising it to make the collector pay way too much for a sample. Sorry I have a very evil mind.
