To all you Tennessee people

I may be moving there. Im not 100% positive. My hubby may be asked to move to a diff plant in his company and its in TN. Well find out in a few weeks or so. They are firing the person at the plant he may take over for so we have to wait for that first. Just in case this does happen and we do move, I wonder what TN is like? I have been there several times as a child, but couldnt remember it for the life of me. Also I am possibly moving somewhere I know nothing about.

Dyersburg, TN. Anyone know anything about it? Am I close to any ADPis? Im just so afraid of being in some VERY small town and knowing noone and not being able to find a job. I just want to get some facts in case this move does happen. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Awww. I was excited! Till I had to look at a map and see that Dyersburg is about as far away from me as you can get and still be in Tennessee. I'm in upper northeast Tennessee about 20 minutes from Virginia and 30 minutes from North Carolina. It's completely different here! I'm in the mountains, and Dyersburg is pretty flat. It's close to the Mississippi River though, and Arkansas and Missouri. We have a lot of great chapters in Tennessee, but I don't know driving distances from them to you....

Dyersburg is in West Tennessee- lots of row crops and farming. It's pretty flat, but still nice. I did my undergrad at the University of TN at Martin. It's in Martin, which is about an hour or so from Dyersburg. I'm sure the Delta Upsilon chapter would LOVE for you to visit! When are you moving, if you do? There are a lot of cool things to do with the chapter in the fall and in the spring. PM me if you'd like to know more.
I love TN and hope to end back there one day.

Sorry to crash, but I get excited when I hear about people moving to TN. Dyersburg isn't too far from Jackson, which while it's not a huge city, is still a pretty good size. It's not down the street, but not too far either. I love TN, and I love West TN especially (I live in Middle.) It's absolutely beautiful, and the people are very friendly. My best friend's mother is an ADPi alum from that area.
