Eyeliner recommendations
So i've been using eyeliner from Almay forever... the kind that you twist up (I hate actual pencils!). I loved the way it went on and the thickness of the line, but I've noticed the past couple of times that I've bought it that it doesn't last much past lunchtime. So i'm looking for something new! Preferably inexpensive. I can't afford $16 on an eyeliner right now from a dept. store counter.
Any suggestions?

Mary Kay is my personal favorite. They have great eyeliners that last forever and they're reasonably priced. They also have great browliners.

I use Avon because my Mama hearts Avon so much she will buy me any Avon I want. Free makeup, woo hoo. I use liquid, though, so I'm not sure if you dig that.

I have tried everything in the world it seems like for eyeliner and I have to go with SmartBlondeGPhB and adpiucf with Mary Kay. It is not too terrible expensive and it lasts (sometimes too long if you forget to take it off). I say go with MK (Mary Kay)

I use Physician's Formula Eye Definer in Metallic Black
(Its a twist up one also!)
I absolutely love it.. it usually lasts ALL DAY and ALL NIGHT (yes, there are times I come home from a night out and just go to bed w/o washing my makeup off.. but my eyeliner is STILL on the next morning!!!)
I believe it costs around $6, and I get it at Wal-Mart.

i have to TOTALLY agree with you all on the mary kay. or, if you want to try something new, just wet an angled makeup brush and then use your eye shadow. it doesn't damage the eye shadow at all and it doesn't have the harsh lines that eyeliner can sometimes have. (although, i like my liner to be dark because it gives my eye more definition)

I haven't really used eyeliner much since undergrad. I like just using a dark black mascara (maybelline) and a light colored eye shadow just outlining my eyelid. I've gotten compliments that this looks best in brightening my blue eyes

I use Clinique eyeliner for the most part, which I think is around $12, but I do use L'Oreal's white eyeliner for my lower lids. I think it's around $6 and it lasts forever and holds up awesome.

There is a new Almay one I bought, and it seems to be working weel for me, and I am an eyeliner klutz. It's "The Amazing Lasting 16 Hour Eye Pencil", and a twist up. I have never been able to use the pencils ever, feels like I am poking myself in my eye through my eyelid. I have also had decent results with "Physician's Formula Eye Definer".

Covergirl, the kind you twist up with the lil blender sponge on the other side.
It works great!

You can also do what MAC does, use a dark/black eye shadow and a slanted brush to line your eyes. I like that way better. When I used pencils, they would always drag or smudge. And the shadow is easier to take off or fix IMO.
