WHY I LUV DST...
Hello Sorors,
Is it just me or everytime you think of Delta it makes you teary-eyed. So I could think of nothing better than starting my own, "Why I Luv DST list.
I Love DST because...
I am a part of the best organization in the World!!
It has given me a deeper bond than anything I could ever imagine.
I am never alone.
I have learned so much.
So many connections.
The list goes on, I just wanted to start it.

I love DST because...
...whenever I meet a soror for the very first time and every time thereafter, we hug like old friends reuinted after 10 years!
...we have our hands in just about every worthy cause on Earth!
...our sorors support each other and have each other's back no matter what!
...our sorors are beautiful women, inside and out!
Is it just me, or do you cry at EVERY crossing/induction ceremony you've ever attended, even when you don't know any of the ladies being inducted?!?!?
God, I love my D-S-T!!!

I just wanted to peek in and say it's wonderful to see something so positive on this forum -- there is a lot of negativity creeping around these message boards. Seeing women who are part of their sisterhood interact like this reinforces my decision to pursue the sorority I've found to be closest to my heart. I see all that I have to look forward to once my struggle is over and I am blessed as a member. Thanks again.

I too would like to express my luv for Delta! Everyday I am thankful and glad that I chose this sorority. It is one like no other! The sisterhood that we share is one that cannot and should not be broken-ever! I just get teary-eyed knowing that I can go absolutely anywhere and be welcomed by my sorors! To all my sorors worldwide, keep the goals and the values that the founders set 87 years ago close to your heart. Never forget what is means to be a true Delta-a soror! I luv y'all!

I Love DST because...
she has made me realize how strong I really am.
she has given me sisters who want more out of life and want the same for me.
she has given me a deeper understanding into what i can accomplish in life.
she has helped me realize that I am helping myself when I help others.
I Love Our Mighty DST. Much Love Sorors.

It has been brought to my attention that some people mistook my previous post. I am not trying to express any interest in Delta when I mentioned "he sorority closest to my heart." was referring to that particular sorority, which I think it would be better at this point to remain nameless. I was just appreciating the positivity you all were exhibiting. It was refreshing. All bonds and relationships are different from sorority to sorority, but love is love. I know that I will feel about my future sisters (I pray) and my future sorority (I pray) as strongly as you do about yours. Sorry for the confusion.

Oh Sorors, especially those who have yet to attend a National Convention, the love for our organization is exemplified during the first official day of the Convention. I think I went through all of the tissue in the Sorors' purse who was sitting next to me.
Ohhhhh to be a DELTA is a beautiful thing!!!
