Hey, what would you do if you lived in a city with a mayor who owns seven bars and is named Hickenlooper?
I'm going to drive home in a few minutes, then walk up to our clubhouse and see if I can help cement the statistics!
But since I'm walking, I guess it won't really help. Damn.
Then again, I live in Aurora and we were only 46th on the list or something like that.
Seriously, Denver is known for its brew pubs -- and they are great -- but I suspect the stats rely heavily on the low tolerance law enforcement has for DUI's. It appears that's where the survey gets its data.
"Flush twice, it's a long way to Golden."

Oh, Hell, to funny!
Go to The Mountains in Ski Season. Hell, has to be more Drinking than any major city.
Ski all day, drink all night, always carried two Bota Bags, one White Wine and One Red. Finished when got to Condo. Ate, and on off to the bars!
Life was good!
Wonder when they will do Risk Management in Cities???

There was in article in the Denver Post in Sept. 99 that said we also have the highest marijuana use per capita. (I went looking for the link but it's in the archives you have to pay for.) Overall you could just start calling the Front Range corridor dazed and confused.
