Summer '04 Wrap Up
With only a few weeks before school and the real world starts again, I wanted to know what my brothers have been doing this summer. (I like to hear how people spend their time. It can be very interesting!)
Anywho, I've been doing my internship at American Urban Radio Networks in Pittsburgh, doing news packages and writing for a syndicated radio program. I've also been trying to get my jewelry business off the ground ( www.veronicamiller.com)... Lord, starting a small business is sooooooooooo hard! (Applause to Bill Gates).
Shameless plug: I will gladly custom make blue and gold pieces!
That's all I've been up to. Reply and let me know what's going on in your blue and gold world.

Hi Ms. Business Lady. I checked out the site...loved it by the way. Do you do jewelry for piercings? Tongue rings, labrets...? It's a pretty big market for those types of jewelry right now. I'm actually from Howard too. I was there for 2 yrs and I came to TSU for 2 Years. I in the IG with Jasmine and Kamaria and Bert and Neechie and them. N E Way right now I'm working full time and in school full time, just moved into my own place (1 br townhome) in the outskirts of Nashville and life is very good!!!

Hey Attractive!
You might not remember me, but I joined Ambassadors for Christ right before you left Howard. The 24 told us how you were a part of the group... I'm glad you stuck with the blue and gold when you went to TSU.
Thanks for your compliments on the site. I don't do body piercings yet... it's funny that you mention it because I just read an article on how it's a growing market for beaders. (Is it corny that I'm part of an online beaders' community? LOL...) Congrats on your own place, too.
In LFS,

Congrats #18
I'm glad to see that you have been doing your thing this summer. I, too, have been doing my thing. I work with a summer camp in my community, as well as, the Department of Juvenile Justice.

I've been pretty busy developing my website, www.oldgoldsoul.com.
I've also been putting the finishing touches on my first novel and writing the first draft of my second novel. I hope to have the first one released in 2005.

Since Graduation I have found a new lease on life, and God has just blessed me with so many opportunities.
Sorry Numba for not hitting you up all summer, you know us 18's have to hold it down because there is only two of us. But I have been traveling ALL summer long. I've been to places like Indianapolis, Kentucky, Tennesee, Las Vegas, South Carolina just to name a few.
I currently work in East Baltimore at the Assistant State's Attorney Office in the Domestic Violence Unit. I will be going back to Howard University in the Fall for Divinity.
As some of you know and most of you don't I preached my trial sermon on July 13th. I am now also known as Minister Jasmine, on top of all of my other alias'.
I have a new car, a new job, a new look attitude.
I hope everyone is having as much as fun as I am. Zeta Phi i will try to be on the yard for the first friday greek jump off.
And you know what! talking about new... I have a new found love for the frat.... I became a life member, and my certificate is so pretty.
By the way, while I'm rambling. I would like to publicly apologize to Sensuret, because there is no hard feelings. Stress of trying to get out of the mecca had me bugging. But like I said I love all frat, those who have never done Bishop Don wrong.

Casanova...
I really like your closing quote!
Hi Everybody,
My summer has been quite interesting....
Basically I have had four jobs....
1. DC socialite- a proper name for a club hopper, my daddy calls me the Black Paris Hilton, because I try to act like that is my real job, but he says that it isn't plus I am always at a corporate party but I have no job!!!
2. Political Activist- I am currently volunteering for two political campaigns here in DC
3. Psychic, reading peoples horoscopes and telling what they mean.
4. Dr. Phil relationship expert- helping people through their crisis
Basically, I am not working yet, but having a grand old time....
Kinda easing into real life.
