The Bourne Supremacy
Anyone go see this last weekend?
I did - it was awesome! I thought it was just as good as (if not better than) the first one. My husband was actually a bit disappointed - he agreed that it was just as good as the first one, but not better than. I think he had just anticipated its release for so long that he was expecting a lot more than he got. I, however, was not disappointed in the least.
It took me about halfway through the movie to realize that the actress who played Pamela Landy was the mom from Pleasantville. I thought she did very well in this movie.
Do you think they'll make the third one (weren't there 3 books in the series?)? I hope so!

I saw it yesterday. I admit that I only saw a little bit of the first one (I fell asleep...not because it was boring but because I was just really tired!). The movie was good and the action scenes were awesome. The theater was sold out and this was a 3pm matinee!

I thought the sequel certainly lived up to the first movie. It was very complex though, so I definitely want to see it again. I hope they only make the third movie if the script is as good as the first two.

From what I understand, the movies are nothing like the books. I think the Jason Bourne character is pretty much the same, but a lot of the storyline is different. (This is just what I've heard.)
I agree, I think there were definitely 2 or 3 angles they left "open" for a third installment. I just love Jason Bourne's character, and Matt Damon does a great job with the role- I think it's the best he's done (well, except for when he plays the lead singer of that band in Eurotrip. I crack up every time I think of him in that role!) so far.

I loved Supremecy, but I think they tried a little too hard to out-do the awesome car chase scene from Identity. It was so hard to focus on it because there was SOO much going on. I kind of just tuned out a little and i normally LOVE car chases! I tend to tune out in movies when they have big battle scenes too like in Braveheart and Lord of the Rings. I loved both movies, but sometimes those scenes are so overwhelming that I have to just kind of stare at the screen and not focus too much!

Never saw the first one.
Probably will catch 'em both on home video.

I enjoyed the first one. For some reason it made me want to go to Europe, and I've never had that urge before. I will probably check out this one on video. Not into to paying $9 for something I can see for free.

I enjoyed the book. I enjoyed the movie.
Neither had anything to do with each other except the name.
I wonder, was the screen writer they engaged a hack or something?
But the movie looked really good . . . its as if the writer said this story is way too beyond my ability to write as a screenplay, but we can still take advantage of the fact that the book sold 60 million copies.
If you want to read a great book, read the Bourne Identity.

I saw the movie this weekend.
I thought it was great! It kept me on the edge of my seat the whole time.
I hope they do the third one.
I haven't read the books but I want to. From what I have heard the movies and books are completely different.
However, I refuse to buy a book with Matt Damon's face on it. They have done the same thing with "I, Robot". It's just not right.

He was quite delicious in the movie.
I finally saw it this weekend. I thought it was excellent. However, when they got to Russia towards the end, I started thinking that the movie felt very long, because it seemed like it should be over by then.
