Beef Jerky
Who else likes beef jerky? Has anyone ever tried other kinds of jerky? We ordered some venison, buffalo, ostrich, and a few others. The venison isn't too bad. I'm scared to try the other ones though. Especially the ostrich jerky...

LOVE all kinds of jerky! My ex-boyfriend's dad makes the best venison jerky. Ostrich jerky is delicious! If you don't like it send it my way.

I don't know about the jerky but I do know that buffalo is much leaner usually and tastes a bit gamier and ostrich a whole lot more gamier. I don't even know if that's a word but I wouldn't prefer to eat ostrich I don't think.

Beef jerky is mandatory on every fishing/hunting/hiking/geocaching/camping trip. My dad and his buddy used to make some fine deer jerky when in season.

I love beef jerky! My favourite is teryaki. I've tried turkey jerky and it's ok too. Though, I've never tried any of the more exotic jerkies you all are mentioning.

We're on the low carb diet so we've been eating beef jerky. It seems that a lot of regular beef jerky is tough and is fatty or has like tendons or something that's stringy when your trying to eat it. The venison is more tender and isn't fatty. We bought our other jerky at www.mountainamericajerky.com I think it's a lil expensive though

I like alligator jerky better, but beef is good too.

It's good for something just to leave in the car. Never goes bad. If 2 months after buying the stuff, you're on a road trip and want to skip a meal, just down some of that jerky in your glove box.
