Anyone remember this old Apple computer game?

I'm at a loss here, and after Google did no help, I've decided to rack all of your brains...

I'm trying to remember the name of a game for the old Apple computer system (the ones with the really big, flimsy floppy disks). It was out in the mid 80s. In the game, your uncle gave you items that you took to an auction house, where aliens gave you money. With the money, you went to a giant "superstore" to buy items you would need on your space ship for your journey. Never got to the journey part, but you could fly the spaceship around in search of something. I think the name of the game is something like "In Search for the World's Greatest Treasure". Please help me; I won't rest until I know the answer! (well, okay, that's a bit of an exaggeration). I know that SOMEONE here must know the game I'm talking about.

Nicole

Sounds like a sci-fi version of Oregon Trail. But I'm sorry - I don't know the name of that game.

I was always partial to "Number Munchers."

But I'm also a huge dork too.

The best game ever was one about the Undergroudn Railroad. But some kid's parents complained about it and it was only available to us for two weeks.

While we're at it, I'm looking for a game as well.

It may have been called Heroes Quest but I can't be sure. I've tried looking for it but all the games that have had than name are NOT the one I'm looking for.
In the game, you got to choose to be either a magician, a warrior, or a thief. You then had to collect a series of items, complete tasks, and outsmart a wizard named Erasmus. It was for the OLD PC's. I remember playing it when I was 12.

If anyone knows what the heck I'm talking about, please let me know!

CASIGKAP-

The game you are looking for is Hero's Quest I made by Sierra (my husband assures me of this). He's saying "Tell her 'Erasmus lived in a purple house.', that'll mean something to her. The series was later renamed Quest for Glory and was made by the same people who made King's Quest and Space Quest."
