Spike Lee Speaks Out
Spike Lee and Bill Cosby aren’t about to let up. This time Spike has spoken out against both 50 Cent and R.Kelly. Of both artists, he told Playboy magazine, In regards to R. Kelly , Spike Lee says "I can't make that separation."I saw that [alleged pornographic] DVD with [R.Kelly] and those girls. I have a 9-year-old daughter. I look at him in a different light now. I can't listen to his music, and I wouldn't buy a record of his. What was the title of 50 Cent 's debut album? Get Rich or Die Tryin . When young African-Americans live by the code “get rich or die tryin” it's a very sad state."

I agree with Spike about R. Kelly and 50. As far as the 50 Cent title, yeah it's not a good message. I find a better message in one of Dead Prez's album titles which was "Get FREE or DIE Trying." That sends a better message.

The whole R. Kelly situation still upsets me. As a youngster I would ALWAYS see him around my high school. I didn't think much about it then but now I'm like .
But as long as people continue to buy their music its the same as saying "we agree with what you say/do". Now granted celebs are entitled to a personal life, but when their personal becomes criminal someone needs to jump in.

 Hanging around your high school?
You're right, though. Who you give your money is to whom you give your power. I just can't see financing criminals, no matter how crunk Chocolate factory was.
That's just me, though.

If he was hanging around high schools, then it is obvious that he is definitely infactuated with underaged girls.

Lady of Pearl, something is wrong in our village but Cosby's GROSS generalizations and the "well to do" blacks attitude of "fcuk them cause I got mines" doesn't help any. It only fuels IDIOTS like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly to jump on the BLacks are evil bandwagon. Cosby shoud've found better things to say instead of
"stop beating your woman because you can't get a job" Which we ALL know that RICH men beat their women as well.
And the Shaniqua's can't read nonsense.
Cosby knew better.
As for Spike, I lost respect for him after tying to copyright a damn nickname. My word.

That kind of tripped me out. I was like, how many folk with dogs are going to have to send in royalties if he wins? Whatever.

I think both of them are talking loud and aint doin' much... (improper grammar intentional). NO one on Fat Albert talked properly...hmmmm..I think Spike is feeling himself..
50: i dont really care for him anyway, so whatever..
Arra: that is a tough one...I still feel that if he was so bad for so long why didn't anyone SAY or do anything? Everyone waited until he was super rich...not taking anything from his talent, b/c the brotha is, but still...
