Vagina Monologue

I went to this play called "Vagina Monologue" it really hits some interesting points. I could relate to it because i could never say the "v" word or anything. I thought it was taboo but it really opened my mind. I also saw it on HBO with Eve Ensler, I went to the play at CSUS AND the deaf version of the play.

I recommend this for everyone, yes including men!

Have you seen it?? Your thoughts??

They did the Vagina Monologues in Greeley during vday. I didn't get to see it b/c I had to work, but some of my sisters went. They said it was amazing and they would definately recommend it to anyone. They said it had it's high points and some parts were funny. I guess I'll have to check it out....

My sisters and I went as a group last year to see it, and it was a really great production. There were parts where you were rolling on the floor laughing, then there were parts that opened your eyes about serious issues. Its definitely something different, and I would recommend it to anyone. Except maybe my dad.

I saw it at College of Charleston in Spring of 2002 and was in the UNC Charlotte Production in the Spring of 2004! Unfortunitly, none of my friends came because they were way too uncomfortable Actually, one came but she left before the second half

I've heard it is a really good play. One of these days I will go see it.

I saw the Vagina Monologues in Chicago and I performed in it during law school (I did the one with all the moaning, lol). Our Women's Law Caucus did the show right around Valentine's Day for V-Day -- people performed it at schools all around the country at the same time. It was very cool.

Saw the HBO version with Eve Ensler doing all of the monologues-- it was hilarious! There are some monologues that are quite unsettling, related to war and rape, but the funny ones just make you die laughing.

My friends took me there for my bachelorette party - very funny and entertaining esp. with a big group of girls.

They do it every year here at UMD around Spring Break time. It's sad that they do it then, because if it were any other time they'd get so much more of an audience. I thought it was hilarious.

I saw this my freshman year of college with my then-boyfriend for V-Day, it was great. I'm auditioning for it this year.

I've seen it twice.

I liked it. The only part I had a problem with is when they made the whole audience say the "C" word for vagina. I just HATE that word.

Other than that, it was good, but as mmcat said.. it's def. not for everyone.

Yeah, ditto on that. Great production!! I saw her when she came through San Francisco. I saw it with a male friend. I had heard about it but he had not. It was fun to watch him squirm!
