After attending the funeral of well known Merle Kilgore, Kid Rock was arrested here (Nashville) last night. He punched a DJ in the face. They apparantly argued over song selections.
KR ran to another strip club just down the road when the police were called.
Then, he ran to a Vanderbilt apartment.
A Vandy cop lost his job. Why? Instead of giving KR a sobriety check and seeing if he was wanted he simply asked KR for an autograph and let him go on his way.
KR was finally tracked down and surrendered peacefully. He's out on bond until his next court appearance.
