It depends on how far you want to go. You could take all the walls and paint them one base color of his frat colors then make a band around all the walls, like a border and tape it off and paint his other color from his frat in there.
I have a billion painting ideas. As far as arts and crafts time, I wasnt too good at that in college. When I took all my interior design classes we had like a craft class and I stunk at it.
I did make the hubby cute pic frames in college with his name and and colors and stuff to put on the wall. We also hung a nice framed pic of all the people in his frat.
You could add special touches like a bedspread or comforter that is a solid color and if say the colors are red and grey, paint the wall red, do the stripe like border in gray, then get a comforter in a charcoal color to set off the red.
Add his paddles if he has any littles, it would also be cool to stencil his letters up on the wall either on the band/border color or just on the wall in a diff color. Inexpensvive rugs from Walmart or Target in the colors of his frat. Hmmm, as for making things, maybe like a collage of pics of him and his bros (i know girls do this more, but Ive seen some guys with collages of pics), some curtain, but very plain, guys dont like frilly curtains, Add in some cool signs you can find off ebay, you may even find some for his fraternity.
