Exclamation Big OOPS!!!

Ok, so I have been sending out a bunch of resumes and cover letters for internships during next school year.

Well I just realized on one resume, my objective is for a different internship!!

Should I just let it go?? OR Should I send a followup email to clarify? My cover letter does state my extreme interest in the opportunity?

Please give some help, especially those who do the hiring out there.

I read somewhere that if you make a mistake on a resume, you should make up a new one and send it out saying that your contact info has changed from the old one and to disregard it. (Make a new email address or something) The error is likely to go unnoticed.
