Anything interesting?

My summer is turning out to be pretty blah.

Two plans have fallen through. Butler's speech and language preschool ended up not running this year, and my clinical supervisor said she wanted me to babysit for her. Well, she's never called even after voicing a need for a babysitter. Go figure.

Anyway, so this summer basically consists of volunteering at RHI (Rehab Hospital of Indiana) to get some observations and experience. I'm also preparing for my move down to IU.

It seems that most weekends involve me driving home to some family get together or to IL to see my bf.

As long as I'm busy I'm happy.

Why did I think summer would be restful?
I'm taking 3 courses, and I work 2 jobs, one lame part-time minimum wager, and my 'makes-my-soul-happy' job, making historical costumes and uniforms for the beeootiful Selkirk Hotel in Fort Edmonton Park.

I was hoping for a fun summer, instead I worked two jobs up until July 11th!

I never want to do that again, working 60 hour weeks is not my thing. I'd rather be a trophy wife if I have to do that again. Currently I'm working about 35-40 hours a week at a friend of the family's mattress store. They used to work for Serta, retired, and opened the store. It's good money, plus I get to use a computer and basically do nothing 90% of the time.

I'm spending the summer on campus doing research for my senior thesis in philosophy.
