ADPi News from VLS

Good news sisters! I attended Volunteer Leadership Seminar in St. Louis this past weekend and had a wonderful time. I was informed that the NEW ADPI OFFICIAL WEBSITE will be up & rinning in about 3-4 weeks (end of July is the target if all goes as planned.)

The site will have an instant message section and a "bulletin board" section that is pretty much like this (only the best part is that it is in the private section of ADPi so you can mention ritual questions, give out emails of other sisters...very exciting!

I'll be checking the site often - if you all do as well, first person to notice the new one is going (you'll know because even the main home page is changing) let us know.

I saw some of the snapshots of the test site and it looks fantastic - there's a lot more that will be on the site than there is now.

Am I correct in saying awards are given out at VLS? If so, does anyone know if they are posted anywhere yet? Just wondering! I do BTs website and keep that updated!

ADPiAkron- Yup! Awards were given out. I roomed with your Standards Director (she's awesome!) and Beta Tau did wonderfully. She was planning to tell you all about the awards at your Recruitment retreat that is coming up soon. When you see her twll her that her roomie says, "Hi!"

P.S. Even though I brought black ribbon, most sisters did not have pin attire for sunday and didn't wear the black ribbon beneath their pins. There was a wonderful service for Miss Blake though. What an outstanding woman.

Your alumnae association should be able to tell you what awards were given to the area chapter(s). Or, contact the CPD for the specific chapter.

I happen to have a listing of the awards each chapter received. If I ever get a chance, I will post a listing of some of them.

Just out of curiosity, what is needed for Diamond Four Point now? I understand that the qualifications have changed since I was in school (and I get a little upset with my chapter when they don't make it!).

I put it in the Pi-Pourri section & titled it DIamond Four Point Criteria (chapters)

Kidder-

I wasnt sure fi you had gotten in touch with anyone about the awards Beta Tau received, but Christy sent out info on the awards we got along with a ton of other alum things in her email and I saw your name on the list so if you didnt get the awards already youll have them in that email.
