wondering about sororities
this question is regarding the kappa kappa gamma's, the delta gamma's, and the kappa alpha theta's. on my college campus these are the only three that i would want to join. i was just wondering what the history of the sororities are and if they are nationally recgonized? i would appreciate any responses from the sisters of these organizations. thank you very much. :-)

While certainly wouldn't be qualified to speak for these three sororities you've identified, I can direct you on how to get some information on them.
You can reach all three sororities via their national homepage from http://www.greeknet.net . In addition, you might try searching/browsing for your college and visiting the individual chapter's homepage.
These resources should start you on your way.

Delta Gamma, aka DG, is a national sorority. That's about all I can say about them, bc my sister was DG but I went ADPi. Good luck researching!!

if there are more than 3 sororities on your campus, you should check them all out and make a decision after you meet some of the sisters. Their own chapter history maybe of interest of you too. Like what they are involved with localy.

Potential new members who start rush having only two or three houses in mind are usually very dissappointed with their results. Of course there are those who get the dream house, but don't have your mind set on just those three, as wonderful as they are.

Delta Gamma, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Kappa Alpha Theta are all nationally recognized Panhellenic sororities.
For history information, you can check out their national websites....

Kappa Kappa Gamma www.kappakappagamma.org
Kappa Alpha Theta www.kappaalphatheta.org

FYI: You don't have to post a new message to test your signature. You only have to go into a thread where you already posted and check it out there. When you change your sig, it changes it on all of your previous posts.
