Doggy Wear & Accessories

What are some good websites and stores for doggy clothing and accessories?

I bought 2 pug T-shirts today from this site:

www.pugmanor.com

Does Old Navy still make stuff for pets? I went to the website today and didn't see anything.

Last I checked they made toys and things but I don't remember seeing any doggy wear.

My dog wears a bandana but he's not into the whole shirt thing. I tried putting a little sweatshirt on him (it came with a really cute bandana which he does wear) and he just looked at me the whole time like "you must be kidding me."

Since you're in NYC you might want to go to Fetch in the Village. I went there last time I was in NYC and got some cool things for Mr. Spoiled. I got him the Statue of Liberty squeaky toy you can see here and the Peanut Butter Pawprint Cookies.

This Poochie Sushi is so cute but I can't justify spending $17 on goodies.

Hey I just checked out the FETCH website. I think I've passed by that place. I've seen a lot of the places in Manhattan and they have cute stuff but seventy bucks for a doggy sweatshirt is a little pricey for me

Okay, as much as I hate to admit it....

....I got Jasmine (my 7 pound mini dachshund) a coat for her to wear when we took her outside to do her business in the winter. She gets cold so easily, so really she had to have something. So I got her the CUTEST little coat (it has fur on the trim!) from Jasper & Lenore. She absolutely loves her jacket b/c she knows that it makes her even prettier than she already is...and so many people come up to us to compliment her....she's an attention whore anyways so this inflates her ego. But at least it keeps her warm!

I usually shop from this local pet store that makes custom pet outfits for your pets. My dog spike, hes a toy fox terrier, he weighs 8 pounds and he loves to dress up. I buy him a costume for every holiday and we have his everyday outfits. My famiyl laughs at him, but he loves to wear clothes and he looks so adorable too. I am hoping to get a teacup chiawawa (spelled wrong) soon and when I do I am so spoiling her to death.

My mama's Bichon Frise, Buffy, is white & fluffy, and has a whole wardrobe of winter coats for when he has to go to the little dog's room. The one that I find hysterical is a white sweater with black spots - we call it his "dalmation sweater"!

Greeklawgirl told me about this place in New Orleans she has shopped before. Her little Pumpkin is toooo cute in her bumblebee outfit.

Chi-wa-wa Ga-ga

If and when I get a Chi, I will probably make a lot of clothes for it as I am crafty like that. I live in a colder climate, so I can get away with it more. One of my knitting books has a pattern for matching sweater with your doggie.

I had found a doggie to adopt, but due to my move in date I didn't get to. I planned to name him Fidel as the Latin definition is "faithful" as a doggie should be. I wanted to get him a little black beret, and a Che shirt to wear. However I could NOT find a beret for a Chi anywhere!!!

Agreed. The most clothing my dog has ever worn is a bandana.

ETA: And that was only because they put one on her when I got her groomed. She's a border collie mix.

I like Earth dog online for bright collars

http://www.earthdogonline.com/allproducts.htm

The pampered pup has cute stuff that's a bit fancier

http://www.thepamperedpup.com/

Also, I went to Michael's craft store and bought a plain white T-shirt that is made to fit a doll or stuffed animal and got fabric paint and painted my sorority's name on the back of it.

Here is a picture of my dog (pitbull/chi mix) in her Sorority T-shirt and skirt!

Also, if you are considering getting a dog check out http://www.petfinder.com they have almost every breed of dog up for adoption and you can do a search by the breed, size, etc. I adopted Laney from there and I couldn't ask for a cuter/better dog!

In Marshall Fields on State Street in Chicago you can find a small boutique called The DownTown Dog. (the original location is in Lake Forest) I've bought toys for Barney there. They have tons of cute things.
