house moms

So....we got a new house director this year, i know a lot of you call them house moms, but anyway, we just found out that ours is married and her husband will be living in the house too!! Im really not sure how I feel about that, our house isnt to big and they will have to use our bathroom on the first floor im pretty sure, that might be kinda weird.

Have any of you had couples living in your houses, and did that work out fine for you?

Did your HC hire her? Or is this a situation where the University provides the House Directors? That makes a real difference with regard to your options.

I agree, that would be kind of weird. We always had old retired ladies as housemoms. They were (almost) always such sweet old ladies... except for one... Mom Gwen. She was like a witch!

just thought i would let everyone know how its going....our house mom is just wonderful. We also had a great lady last year but she was very uninvolved and never came around. The house mom this year is so sweet and is so excited to get to know all of us, she has lunch with us everyday and her husband is as sweet as he can be. They are both in their early 20's and her husband is a pastor. At first we were a little nervous about that becuase you know on the weekends the house can get a little crazy....but they really respect our privacy and are very good to us! Looks like its going to be an amazing year for our house!
