GC's view of bulldozer operators...

I think bulldozer operators are important. It would be hard to build things without them. I was wondering what GC's view on these people is?

I'd say that they are my biggest annoyance.

Although I do agree, I somewhat think that tearing things down would be much more difficult to do without bulldozers.

Great point though.

Perhaps I was too harsh before. Sometimes bulldozer operators give me the warm fuzzies!

I'm fine with them as long as they have their bulldozer operator certificates. I mean, the bulldozer operators that don't are just an insult to the profession. PLUS! They run over things they shouldn't and that is probably bad.

Ktsnake, R U A Lawyer? If so, I hope that you're not driving a bulldozer without the required certification.

I'll be a law student in the fall.

I would never dream of driving a bulldozer without the required certification. It's really a slap in the face of those that ARE certified that some people choose to operate bulldozers without the required certs. I mean, those guys worked so hard for those certifications and are really the only ones that know what they're doing. In fact, one time, I heard that an unauthorized operator of a bulldozer thought it'd be a good idea (they were trying to move a building) to just push it with his dozer. Well, it's a good thing a certified dozer operator was nearby to tell him that'd be a bad idea. I can only imagine the horrible scene that would have occured had this certified operator not been there.

Although Valkyrie changed her opinion i happen to agree with her first entry......although they help build things they are my biggest annoyance.

especially when they illegaly park there cat machines on a dark road one night with no lighting and no markings to warn of presence and you ram in at head first at 30 miles an hour and put your entire right hand and arm thru the windshield.....oh yeah....HUGE ANNOYANCE!

Clearly, those are unqualified dozer operators.

Why, do you support uncertified bulldozer operators? I think the general agreement here is that they are bad.

LMAO.

I do dislike unlicensed bulldozer operators.

And tractors too. My school bus used to ALWAYS get stuck behind them going to school (which was on top of a big hill with a very winding, steep road).

I too would name them one of my greatest annoyances

I know it is not nice, but I'm LMAO over here.

Yes, I know it's not good or kind - but it just tickled me.

I hate the bulldozers that park around the school so that they take up most of our parking places.
