I am sure some of you keep up with the pins on Ebay... I ran across a really pretty pearl/emerald badge w/ guard from your Lambda chapter listed today. The fool selling it has no idea what it is so far. I just thought I would make sure you saw it. Drives me crazy when our badges end up for sale.

Description
Very nice vintage pin has a design on the top of the larger piece that I do not recognize. It is probably from some Fraternal Organization or Fraternity. It is gold metal with a diamond shape, it is marked on the back, "V.E.K. 612". On the front of the larger pin, that measures just 3/4" long and 3/8" wide, is black enameling, pearls and green emeralds all around the outside edge. In the black enameling are symbols of a sword and K, a pyramid shape, and the letters, ATO. It is attached to another smaller pin by a 1 5/8" long gold chain. The smaller pin is 1/4" tall and in the shape of a V, with teeny seed pearls in a row. One of the tiny pearls is missing. The gold content is not marked, so I do not know it. I also don't know if the tiny pearls and emeralds are real or faux. It is well made and very pretty and comes in its original folding case that reads on the top: "L.G. BALFOUR CO. ATTLEBORO, MASS."
