2004 NCAA Baseball
NCAA Super Regionals this weekend:
Vandy @ Texas
FSU @ Arkansas
Arizona @ LBSU
Georgia @ Georgia Tech
play Friday, Saturday, Sunday. With best 2-of-3 winners advancing to College World Series to begin play on 6/18.
East Carolina @ South Carolina
Tulane @ Cal St. Fullerton
Texas A&M @ LSU
Florida @ Miami
play Saturday, Sunday, Monday. With best 2-of-3 winners advancing to College World Series to begin play on 6/19.
Some damn good baseball there. Will be televised on ESPN and ESPN2 starting Friday. This past weekend was the best baseball I've seen in awhile at any level, hope the same holds true the rest of the way.

i was wondering if anyone else was going to start a thread like this.
All i gotta say is that Holy Crap, we beat Rice!!
With a grand slam, in the bottom of the 8th, no doubt.
Our series with LSU should be a good one, although i haven't been following as much this year, so i don't know much about the Bayou Bengals.
Man, if we get to Omaha, you bet your ASS i'm taking days off of work study to go see my Ags play!!

Kent State beat Notre Dame. I'm hoping Kent can go all the way.

LSU is still very good. Their hitting isn't as great as in years past, but they can still put up runs. The only series they lost at home this year was to Arkansas I do believe and that was in a sweep.
After the ninth inning game winning grand slam against Wichita St. sunday in game 1 and the 4-3 win in game 2 sunday the Razorbacks have about spent me in excitement. Hope for more this weekend.

They'd be a lock if they were still playing.

t.u. jumped all over Vandy with 5 runs in the top of the first. Disch-Falk is JUMPING
Man, i hope A&M can win a game against LSU, i really think we pulled one out of the fire against Rice.
Maybe our lucky streak will continue and we can banish the ghosts of 89.

I was bummed out over Vandy's loss. It was expected, though!
