Dodgeball

I saw this tonight. While there were some very funny parts in it..the movie as a whole was disappointing. Anyone else seen it?

I saw it today with my family... I LOVED it. But, I have a dry sense of humor that is a bit odd. The husband likes Ben Stiller and Vince Vaughan and he thought it was good. The little brother asked what 'necrophilia' means, though

Overall, the family thought it was good. It's not on the level of Swingers or Something About Mary, but we thought it was worth the matinee price...

They had a promotion for it at halftime the other day at an arena football game I was at. "Bedlam Dodgeball" (Bedlam is the name of the rivalry b/w Oklahoma and Oklahoma State).

The Sooners of course only lost 1 player and totally defeated the Oklahoma State folks.

Was kind of funny to watch. I also hear that Deion Sanders is really into dodgeball.

Those are two COMPLETELY different types of movies.

Anyway it picked up steam more towards the middle. The humor wasn't as in your face like in Along Came Polly or as bizarre as Zoolander. Overall I'd say it's definitely one of the better mainstream movies in the last couple months, but I wouldn't call it the best.

No kidding? lol... I was referring to the fact that they are both great movies -- on a level higher than say, the Starsky and Hutch remake...

Funny as hell. The whole theatre was laughing. Some of the jokes came so fast people were missing them.

i thought it was ok, it had its moments but it also had its dead time. and maybe i am setting myself up for a bashing but i am thinking the "is she a lesbian, oh no she's bi" thing at the end was stupid. just keep her a lesbian or not have her be one.
