What's the social circut where you live?
More specifically, whats really popular each nite of the week where you live? I think its also different with different age groups. My group is 25-35 year olds.
In San Antonio:
Wednesday is County Line - they heve free concerts and you see everyone there and its a great after work/ early evening hangout. Hills and Dales is real popular. its an icehouse and turns into a biker bar. Its awesome to see the 200+ bikes parked out front.
Thursday is Regianno's. It's a trendy restauraunt in Stone Oak and the bar is always packed with 'movers and shakers'. Definately where the 'pretty people' hang out.
Friday is "first friday' and on the first friday of the month theres this art tour in southtown/king william historic district. Its an area of old houses/ shops and bars and such and a great neighborhood. All the art galleries stay open late and theres a cool microbrewery down there and some awesome restauraunts.
Other fridays people hit the bars like Bonham for the 75 cent drinks, or head to Broadway 50-50, Fox & Hound (where everyone you ever went to college with hangs out, now that you are in your mid 20's) or Flying Saucer.
Saturday people tend to spread out, as there isnt one particular hotspot. People can always be found at Stoneworks, voted best place to meet your mate in SA. Or any spot downtown on the riverwalk, like Swigs, Zinc, Davenport, or Citrus in the Hotel Valencia
Sunday people tend to hit the smaller bars. Kennedy's, Baker Street is pretty popular on sunday, but people are always at Bakers.
Things are kinda chill Monday - Tuesday. I need to research those nights. lol.

lol. Thats not my schedule, thats just whats going on. Rarely will I go out during the week. Since I work for myself, I could go out and party, but choose not to. Its too distracting. I only go out on the weekends. Usually, lol.

Things really haven't changed since I gave up "that life".
Sunday: Brew Moon. Two rooms, one with house/trance, the other (more popular) hip hop. Almost 150 beers on tap.
Monday: Broke Dick Monday at the Red Lion. Beers are a dollar, the music's alright...it's moreso a military and tourist bar, but locals go down just for the cheap beer.
Tuesday: Dollar Drinks at Pipeline. The biggest club on the island, beers a dollar, other drinks are $2. Biggest dance floor too, sports bar upstairs, the Tiki Room and VIP lounge have their own things going on too.
I prefer Ladies' Night at Oceans. They call it Ladies' Night but everyone gets in without having to pay cover before 10, and all drinks are $2 because "it wasn't the guys' fault they weren't born women".
Wednesday: D&B Sunset Lanai Happy Hour. Everything's half off, DJ's on the sunset lanai. If it gets too crowded up there, there's always the midway.
Thursday: Paddlers' Night at Oceans. Probably the most exclusive and sexist club on the island. It's also the only night Oceans is 21+. Normally they're 23+ the rest of the week. Drink specials aren't all that, and basically if you don't go early or if you don't have a VIP card, you're screwed. I stopped going there after everyone seemed like they were 21 and 2 hours old and they were getting drunk after their one long island iced tea. Still, the lines still go around the block.
Friday: Platinum at the Reign. I hate that place and the people that go there since the bar I work at is right around the corner. I don't even know what the specials are anymore because I haven't been there since I decided they were too freaking overrated.
There's also the Wonderlounge at the W hotel. Older, professional crowd...cover's an ass and a half, but people flock there because of the atmosphere. $$$ MEAT MARKET.
Saturday: the Piranha Room at Oceans. They transform the club into "someplace else". If Oceans wasn't already exclusive enough, this is uber exclusive. I never go to these because I'd have to lose at least 20 pounds to look as thin as the bitches that go in.
There's always the bars that work every night: Eastside Grill, Bedroq's, Magoo's, and the MaiTai Bar at Ala Moana that have happy hour and ridiculously cheap drinks and live music every night. If I'm not at my bar, then I'm at these places. I just hate dressing up and having to try to impress people at the club. Oh well. I finally grew up, I suppose.

Same with Toronto.
Every night of the week there is something going on. There isn't one specific night. Too many bars for that.
Although when I was at school in Guelph,
Wednesday nights were cheap pitcher night's at Trapper's (Trapper's Alley)
Wednesday night were also Aggie Pub nights
Thursday nights used to be Keg nights (everyone went to the capus bar called The Brass Taps, which used to be called The Keg until the restaurant threatened to sue the school...but we still call it The Keg). Then all campus bars became non-smoking so they lost a TON of business.
Fridays used to be Hip Hop night at The Trasheteria (AKA The Trash), then it became Hip Hop nights at Van Gogh's Ear (AKA Van Gogh's).

I couldnt even begin to talk about all there is going on in Cleveland. So many bars so little time. We have the flats and tons of other bars all over. My hubby and I left that lifestyle when we graduated and then got married. We still go out with friends to the bars, but thats like maybe once or twice a month, its hard to get everyone together and we dont really just go to the bars the two of us lol. We did know all about Akron when we lived there cause there was always something going on and we didnt care as much about classes then, esp Thurs-Sat nights lol.

My social life consists of staying in with my boyfriend or going out to dinner with him. Yeah, I am boring.
I remember when I was in college, Tuesday night was Senior Night at the pub, Thursday was an after hour at a fraternity house, Friday and Saturday we went to the Rat or random parties. Boy those days were fun.
