Planning to watch

Because I'm curious to see how it will play out in an edited version. We definitely will see less of Samantha, because she was the raciest of the four ladies.

Are they really editing the show? That's stupid. If they do I'm not watching. What's the point?!

Remember, TBS isn't premium cable like HBO is. Anybody w/cable can get this, so I'm pretty sure that children may be awake when the show runs.

i read that they filmed alternate scenes all along, in preparation for it being sold to a basic cable station plus they all went in and dubbed certain words. so it's going to be a mix of old scenes that they kept, old scenes that they dubbed, and new scenes not seen before.

I'll watch. I haven't seen very many of the old episodes plus I too am curious to see what it's like the edits, dubbing and new scenes.

true, but I know when they brought the Sopranos to CTV they didn't edit it at all.

What time are they airing SATC?

I think at 10 Eastern/9 Central. If they do a straight time zone thing, that's 7 p.m. Pacific, the time zone where I live. So unsupervised kids could see it.

They're airing it on CITY-TV as well in Toronto, and it'll be on at 7 pm. They're going to be showing the same version as on TBS. Also, Canadian rules are a little more laxed for tv shows airing after 9 or 10 pm and always have warnings between commercial breaks.

If they're showing it on CITY at 7pm then it will definitly be edited.
If they were showing it after prime time then I know CITY wouldn't edit it.

Are they still showing reruns on Bravo?

Yes, it's still on Bravo!Canada. I'm not sure when SATC will start on CITY, though. It doesn't look like it's airing tonight.

Canadian is a whole different deal than American.

I'm going to watch, as I don't have HBO and have seen maybe 2 episodes. If it's really good, it should stand up even with the language and nudity taken down a notch.

I never had HBO, but somehow have seen most of the episodes up to season 6. Well, I know its because I buy the seasons on DVD, but I am also interested in how much they will edit, if they do at all- nevertheless I am excited!
