Money Matters

Is anyone here going to the Money Matters finance training?
I will be at the training in Dallas!

I think I'm going to Alpharetta unless FA can go.

ETA: The old FA who is filling in until I can find a replacement just called to say that it was at the end of January!!! I thought it was February!!

We won't be getting a new VPF until the weekend before, lol.


ETA2: Yea, the new VPF and Finance Advisor are going! Boo, I miss meeting Alpha Gams. So I'll take off the 27th and go play instead.

I just got home from Dallas-- Money Matters was very informative and my VPF said she learned alot!! (yeah!!!!)
We met alot of great AGDs too!!!! (any of you lurking on here???)

But Sandy (if you are ready this)..... I met Mary Lou, she flew to Dallas to lead part of the training this weekend. We talked this morning for awhile. She is great!!!!!

Also, the VPF and I were sitting in the Dallas airport waiting to board the plane. My VPF had letters on and a woman came up to us and said she is an AGD. She went to school at TCU years ago--- she was on our flight!!!!

Yea! Mary Lou is great....in fact, she's my 'alum chum'!

Shortly after being AI-ed when our chapter was installed, she became our alum chapter president, and served for many many years. She was AWESOME as a president to the alums and a great friend to the collegians.

So you can imagine how sad we were when she left her Presidency to join the VST's Finance Team.

We know she's still doing wonders for the Fraternity...this time on an International level!

Gamma Tau went to Alpharetta this weekend and I heard they had a wonderful time. Sorry I missed iit but it was for the FA and brand new VPF.
