Hi everyone,

Sorry for jumping in here, but I had some stuff I had to say. I'm the president and co-founder of a local sorority, and we're in the process of trying to affiliate with an NPC organization. Alpha Xi Delta is our top choice! This process has been incredibly stressful and emotionally challenging, but everyone from Alpha Xi Delta that I have interacted with has been a huge help and just wonderful! Women that I know through greekchat sent in letters of recommendation, which means more to me than I can ever express, and even more of y'all have been encouraging me and giving me advice and support through this whole thing. Beyond this, I just recently had a good 45 minute long phone convo with Marissa, your director of expansion, and she was a HUGE help. I know she's a busy woman, but she took time to answer all my questions and let me know that Alpha Xi Delta would be there to keep us informed every step of the way. My biggest wish right now is that AXiD will decide they want my sorority to affiliate with them, but even if that isn't a possibility, I wanted to say thank you and WOW to all the members! Alpha Xi Delta and everyone I have interacted with really epitomizes to me what greek life is all about...I'm so impressed!

Hang in there... I know that it has been hard but think of how rewarding it has started to be and what's in store for you in the future. All the luck in the world to you and your sisters.

UC Santa Cruz...so far the only NPC sorority on campus is Gamma Phi Beta, but we're hoping to change that soon!

Regardless of how this all turns out, YOU are the one that we all have to be saying "WOW" about, not us! You have done so much in such a short time and in a manner that's been SO dedicated and focused, it's been truly amazing and a joy to watch. You are a wonderful sorority member, and whichever group you choose to join will be lucky, lucky, lucky to have you!!
