MXC: Most Extreme Elimination Challenge

Yeah, it's exploitive, and relies on small humor, but cmon, seeing some of those people completely EAT IT is funny.......

Anyone else seen this?

It's the only reason why I even watch Spike TV.

I used to watch the original show without the voiceovers on a local Japanese channel here. It was still pretty funny without the English parts.

The "older" gentleman that I dated last year was childhood friends with "Vic Romano" and they used to do stuff like that when they were kids. Briefly met him last year. Cool guy.

Makes you really wonder why anyone in their right mind would subject themselves to that kind of stuff.

Best show on TV. Period.

Why is MXC continually ignored by the Emmys and Golden Globes? I cannot understand this prejudice against drunk Japanese people who wear poorly constructed Halloween costumes. Uncoordinated people in tights have feelings too. It is just not fair.

You know there ain't nuthin' funnier than watching a lady in a cardboard butterfly costume smash her face into a wall.

I nominate MXC for Best TV Comedy! (It's way better than the current group of midgets-dating-fake-millionaires-competing-for-jobs-with-real-millionaires-with-really-bad-hair-attending-peptobismolpink-wedding reality shows lately, anyway).

My husband LOVES this show! He and our daughters watch it together but I think that'll have to end in a few years when they actually start understanding some of the humor

I've been watching this show for quite some time now. I will say that I'm excited to see some new ones....finally! I was getting tired of watching the same ones over and over again.

Me too! I found this show way back when I was deathly ill (I'm sure some people are sorry the death part didn't stick ) and ended up watching it. God it hurt so much to laugh, but I couldn't help it - I just thought it was funny because of all the medicine was taking -- but Mr. AXO Alum saw it and he fell in love with it too. Now its a "family" event whenever we go to the in-laws

Thank goodness they are showing new episodes!! I just love the voice-overs -- they are so funny...the one where it was "the circus people" and the girl comes up and the voice-over says "I like to swallow!" -- then they say "Jane is a professional sword-swallower..." -- too funny!

I love this show! I try to watch it whenever I get the chance, just because it's good for a quick laugh.

And if you want to read about the original Takeshi's Castle, here's a link to it. It's in English.

I was just watching it and I LOVE THAT SHOW! Babaganoush forever!

I showed it to my roommate last month and she just about died. She was in shock at first then couldn't stop laughing. Everyone who sees it thinks its great. Like Iron Chef on crack!

I completely read this sooooo wrong. But I was drinking coffee and barely looking at the screen. I thought you said "I showed it to my roommate last month and now she died" (which isn't perfect grammer?)

Okay, very happy your roomie is not dead! I need to seriously wake up!

BUMP

I love this show!!!!!!!! I was going to start a thread about it and then I found this one. My kids even love it, my daughter calls it "Most Extreme" and my son calls it "Most Extrange" or just "The funny show." I LOVE Guy LeDouche, the things they have him say are just hilarious and he always has that sh*t eating grin on his face to go along with it......

My question is, when will there be more new episodes? I realize they make this from an old show that is no longer on the air, but there has to be more raw material to work with. I keep seeing the same ones over and over. I do love the one where they have the Sikh dude in the turban hanging out with Guy and they call him Seamus O'Reilly or something like that!!!!!!!
