Audiobook recommendations

Background -- I'm a triathlete/runner and I like to listen to audiobooks or podcasts while I train. Marathon training is starting for me next week and I need new listening material. I've listened to all of my audiobooks and exhausted the This American Life archives.

I need recommendations for audiobooks -- all of the books I currently want to read and that have been recommended to me aren't suitable for training purposes. I'll be listening while spending 3-4 hours running, so I basically need fluff that is suspenseful enough to keep my mind occupied and not too difficult to pick back up on the story if I tune out for a few minutes.

I prefer fiction and really like mysteries, and I don't like anything that could be referred to as "chick lit." In past training cycles I've listened to the DaVinci Code, Angels & Demons, the Harry Potter series, and a ton of John Grisham.

Help?

I get books on CD for driving (long distance relationship) and really love listening to James Patterson. I've been known to sit in the garage if I arrive but want to hear the end His stuff is pretty suspenseful. Good luck!

I work at a bookstore over the summer and at Christmas so here's some of the new stuff I'd recommend:
-The Strain by Guillermo del Toro (guy that directed Pan's Labyrinth)
-the new Bourne book...as in the Bourne Identity series
-any of the Sookie Stackhouse books, they're the inspiration for that new HBO series True Blood
-The Scarecrow by Michael Connolly
-I know it's kinda 'girly', but the Twilight series actually isn't as bad as people say it can be...lol

If you need any more recommendations, def let me know, I have a laundry list

What about the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evanovich?

I recommend the James Patterson Women's Mystery Club books - or any of his for that matter. Other than those I don't have too many on audiobook.
