It looks like we (APhiA) have ten professional staff members. I am not sure how many active chapters they actually serve.
I'll let someone else answer for APO.

I beleive lifesaver it right.
When you get that many people upon the Stage to Intro them, it may look large.
But, the Ladies working for LXA HDQ, were at General Assembly, working 15 Hours. Stayed at the Hotel without their families.
For the size of certain of the Organizations, it does take a large Staff to run the so many operations.
They are not paid enough, but I think it rubs off on them the feeling that they get from all of the Young People who they work with.

14 employees and 11 elected officials. All are a great group of guys and girls and we are thankful to them.

I'm not exactly sure, but I'm convinced that the Receptionist is selected by whomever can get the most syllables out of "Pi".

I mean this is the absolutely fondest of ways, and the person involved would know it! When you call our Executive Office, the honey that flows from the receptionist's mouth is thick enough to cut with a knife. She was definitely hired for her wonderful abilities and charm, and I admire that!

No idea. I talked to 5 today calling in to request some literature. I personally know quite a few more than that.

Honeychile, I get it! Everytime I have called Chi Omega HQ (in lovely Memphis, TN) it brings a smile to this New Englander's face! I can only image what they think of my RI accent.....
