Cell Phone Companies
Cell Phone companies know we hate them....
http://www.clickondetroit.com/techno...40/detail.html
I find it quite funny that AT&T Wireless got the most complaints. I shut my phone off, on time, in around November or December of 2002. They were still billing ME for the next year. They recycled my phone number, and the new user wasn't gettin bills. So, apparently this lady is using her phone under my name.
We've called them numerous times. They dropped the billings, but say that we still owe $400 and we never shut the phone off. But how come we've called like every month when we get this notification, telling them we turned it off in December 2002? The guy got SUPER lippy with my mom and started yelling at her and told her she better get a lawyer. Well... umm... yeah. They're the ones at fault. How can they say that we never shut the damn phone off when they gave the phone to a NEW cell phone customer?
Bottom line... they know we hate them. And don't go with AT&T Wireless.

I believe the merger is still pending with the FTC.

You think your spring is bad? My plan is for $50 a month, but my bill ends up being $90 a month after fees!

Is that because going over your minutes?
I get stuff like state taxes, federal taxes, local taxes, regional taxes, 911 federal tax, 911 state tax, and random BS like that...

Nopers. I went WAY over my minutes one month, and I'm not even gona go into that. That was my mistake tho.
The charges are the state and federal and all the crapola which adds up to like just over $10. Then there's the Vision Package cuz what's the point of not having all that crap. Then there's insurance. Then there's free sprint to sprint. And add no roaming because roaming in my area happens quite frequently.
So yeah. If I didn't primarily use my cell phone, I'd haev a cheaper plan and all. But that's all I have and use, so, I'm stuck.
