Libertarian Convention in Atlanta

Every time I've met actual libertarians here in Oklahoma, they scare me. The concepts behind the organization are appealing. The people, on the other hand (at least here) range from hippies that just want weed to be legal to gun-totin' white supremacist-looking folks. I read their literature and I agree. Then I look at the people and have the sudden urge to run away

(not saying anything about anyone on GC who is libertarian, just the ones I've run into)

I'd love to go to the Convention and see how the whole thing runs; I agree with ktsnake that the organization is really interesting.

Is it on the same weekend as Jazz Festival in Piedmont Park?
