Pupil Dilation

Supposedly, whenever someone becomes interested in something or someone, their pupils dilate.

Has anyone ever witnessed this in another person?

couples who have been together for a looooong time I have heard can cause a calm to the heart rate. It's a comfort thing.

yes, your pupils dilate as your brain and senses are aroused (lol) by looking at things that are pleasant to you. This also happens when you are around your friends and people that you care about. Its studied by psychologists learning about liking and what makes people more attracted to other people for friends or mates.

Yep, it allows your sight to become sharper AND, like you said, the deepening of the eye is a primal sign of openness that encourages mating!!! Look at felines - they really do it right.

On that same line, if you can't get to sleep, start breathing at the same rate of your partner. Chances are good that you'll be asleep in no time!

And I thought that pupil dialation was old news, really old news!

Yeah. It's that "look". You can't describe it until you see it. However it sucks to be me because I have naturally large pupils, so sometimes guys get the wrong idea

Yeah, I knew about this since I was a sophomore in high school. However, I never really paid attention to it.

I've also heard, if the person has dark eyes, you can tell their pupils are dilated if they give a blank stare.
