Monica got conned into cooking Thanksgiving dinner again (she didn't want to), but Phoebe said it would be like she was competing against herself from last year to make a better Thanksgiving dinner. This of course thrills Monica to death.

Phoebe then convinces Rachel to dress Emma up in this cowgirl outfit to win $1000 in a baby beauty pageant.

Ross and Joey invite Chandler to the Rangers game, but he says they shouldn't go since the game is at 1 and dinner is at 4 and there's no way they'd be back in time for dinner (which, of course, we all know Monica will be pissed if they're late).

Emma wins the beauty pageant, and Joey and Ross go to the game anyways. Chandler gets to make the cranberry sauce.

Ross, Joey, Phoebe and Rachel are all an hour late for dinner and there's this big stand-off b/w the four of them in the hallway and Monica and Chandler (and her "vein" as Joey lovingly refers to as a third person) in her apartment. They end up having to break the door open 'cause Joey gets his head stuck in the door and he flies over and lands on Monica's food (which she didn't want to cook in the first place, remember?) and ruins dinner.

Monica had answered a phone call so she missed all this. She came out of the bedroom and Chandler says "Joey did it!" And she says, "I don't care." Chandler asks what's wrong (why she wouldn't be upset about a mess) and she says that the phone call was the adoption agency - they're going to get a baby from a pregnant girl in Ohio!

I actually was at a Pampered Chef party, but I have DVR so I was able to fast-forward through all the commercials!!! It was a really good episode. Too bad there won't be a new episode next week!!!

Yeah, who would have a FOS haircut that late in the 80's? Monica dancing in the fat suit and Danny Devito stripping were hilarious.

I was slightly weirded out by Friends last night. I couldn't help but cringe when it came out that Ross and Monica had accidently made out. YUCK!

Because it's funny.

That was the point - he and Ross were dorks. You didn't see any of the other "college" people with such riduculous hair.

I completely agree. I really didn't feel like that added to the humor or the show. It was just disgusting.

But I do think Monica is a funny dancer in the fat suit.

Does anyone else feel like Friends is coasting now, just writing filler scripts until its over. I've been a fan for the full 10 years, so I obviously can't stop now, but it just doesn't feel like they are giving it the same effort anymore.

That, and Ross' Member's Only jacket. When were those two things popular? ca. 1984? GEEZ, people, we are showing our age. I'm pretty sure that 1987 was acid wash and mullets. Or maybe that was only in Turlock/Modesto?

The Ross/Monica and Chandler/Rachel storyline was gross and should have been kept out.

I thought that storyline was hilarious. I loved it when Chandler yelled "What did I marry into?"

I agree! I thought the show was hilarious, although it was a bit predictable.

It's so funny how they had a flashback to the 80's last night - my coworkers and I were discussing 80's fashion yesterday at work!

I am going to be so unhappy if Ross and Rachel don't get back together.
