I need some Questions answered..........
1) Who is our International Sister Sorority?
2) How many Chapters do we currently have?
3) Was Ron Jeremy(The Porn Star) a TKE?
4) Is there any truth to the rumor that some TKE astronaut left his pin on the moon?
5) What TKE chapters are the strongest Internationally?
6) Is Corey surgically attached at the hip to his girlfriend?
......Blaise....Way up the Bayou........

1. No clue at all.
2. Active chapters, I'd say close to +/- 274
3. According to rumors I've heard, yes, but of course they're not going to put him in the red book.
4. That I think is completely false, there was a message thread a couple of days ago about pins on the moon, and it seems everyone's got their pin on there if the rumors are true. If it were, that sort of thing WOULD be in the red book.
5. Taking a wild shot, I'd say University of Manitoba, as they're the oldest, but again, no clue.
6. Corey the sigchi? girlfriend? i thought they really LOVED the brothers in that fraternity.

He's not, and neither is Ron Jeremy. With the allegations against him, I can understand why IHQ wouldnt want to advertise that. It's still a widespread chapter rumor. I hear from some of the guys that he's an FSU alum, anyone down there know anything about it?

No funny squiggles, just bold letters: TKE

Frater - as much as I hate to admit this, Yes, PeeWee is an honorary member of TKE (before his little caper). And, naturally Frater Conard (TKE's walking history book) will verify this along with more finite details, such as the exact date, time, if so and so was present, etc..

Ron Jeremy-honoray member
A question was asked wether Ron Jeremy was a TEKE? And yes he is an honoray member of San diego State Universtiy chapter Gamma-Lambda. I am an active member at the Arizona State Chapter of Beta-Xi. And our chapter has a great relationship with the SDSU chapter who initiated Ron Jeremy. I have met Alumni of Gamma-Lambda that were undergrads at the time of Ron Jeremy's initiation in the late 90's.
If you need further proof buy, rent or download:
"Porn Star: the legend of Ron Jeremy."
There is a 15 minute scene of Ron Jeremy on stage at the SDSU Teke house party room. Part of the film is shot at the Teke house and is around the same time he was initiated. The scene shows the Teke house at SDSU and he is being cheered on by the Tekes at SDSU.
From what I was told, when Ron was initiated, headquarters was pissed off and so was their alumni board. Since they were a powerhouse at the time, they did not get in trouble at the time.

Yeah, too bad your HQ doesn't list him as a distinguished alumnus on their website. I see Elvis, Merv Griffin, Willie Nelson, and the Everly Brothers...but no Ron Jeremy.

Sorry contact IHQ. He is not a TKE in the official sence. His memebrship was rejected by IHQ and he did not recieve a badge from IHQ's anyways. I am sure many brothers, especially at the chapter he saw iniation consdier him one. IHQ does and won't claim him and chapter could get in trouble if they use his name or image for rush, parties, ect. I have talked to several grands about it before and they aren't happy people claim him when he isn't a brother. I heard they even consider a suit agisnt him if he keeps claiming membership. I think thats unlikely because it would bring to much natinal publicty to the issue.

Ron Jeremy-honoray member
I cannot argue agianst that he is not an official Teke, however it is hard if not impossible to keep "Ron Jeremy", out of the minds and thoughts and the many t-shirt designs of thousands of current active members of Teke. Just the fact that he initiated just as you, the many brothers still in college and I did, will be froever engraved in our minds.
Even though Ron Jeremy was rejected by HQ because of his status as a Adult film star, every chapter I have come in contact on the west coast, still do consider him a member. Ron also does stop to greet and talk with tekes as he did for us two years ago when his tour stopped by in tempe. I can accept he is not an official teke, but if it had been another time, or if Ron was a senator, or somthing more tastefull than a porn star, the grand council would have accepted his membership. Jump into our shoes, and you see how different you would feel about it. Male, college student, and young, things are just a little different. And you would be lying if you say you wouldn't want to be associated with him, well lets not get into an argument over this. However to us Tekes in the west coast close to SDSU, Ron will always be a member. Because its the one and only "RON JEREMY".

I guess if fellow Tekes want to consider him one in their hearts and minds thats fine. He may have seen ritual and even believe in it doesn't make him my brother. He may be a great guy, but seeing ritual doesn't make someone official in my eyes at least and defiantely not with IHQ.lol
