American Idol ....yea Or Nay?

Well the time has come for another season of America's favorite Reality TV show...... American Idol. How does everyone feel about this season so far and how many are die hard fans? Personally, I am addicted to the terrible singing and embarrasing moments.

I LUVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV the really bad people. It's the best part! The girl who drove people out of the restaurant/bar has been my favorite so far. The person who threw water was a little out of touch. I hope they pressed charges.

I think I like the early stages so much b/c I know I'm not a good singer [my ears work ], and it's hard to believe that some of these people don't realize how bad they sound.

Some of the people they selected were just awful to me. There was a girl in Atlanta who sang Summertime...horrible...she did nothing for me at all.

The girl who sang Tina Turner's song was just alright too. I'm interested to see how they sound after they work with some professionals.

Horrible

The girl from atlanta who did Tina Turn was alright but I really liked that African American guy who said he was going to sing to Paula but since she wasn't there she sang to Randy. He was good to me.

Have probably seen it less than 5 times

I'm a straightahead jazz fan, none of this smooth jazz stuff for me. Jazz simply isn't a mass music. So I would have to say nay on AI, although I think Big "Uuben" would be the linear descendant of Ronzoni Luffa Vandross if he had the right producers, etc.

The best thing about AI is the rejects. I don't watch finalists. I think it is just a karaoke competition but the rejects are funny as hell.

The rejects are great but I want to hear some real singing. I am a musician and while it's hillarious to see these people make fools of themselves I really tune in to see who's going yoHollywood and how good they are.

Last season they showed a nice mix of good, bad, and dreadful, but this season it's all about the rejects.

Kira is her name, I think. Hopefully she learned a lesson --->humility. As bad as she talked about Simon, she was all up in his grille when she found out she hadn't been dismissed (as I thought she would be).

I have to give the judges some credit. They rose above their anger at her petulance, recognized her talent and kept her around. ...and she can sing.
