Talking If you like classic TV shows like Good Times.....

......then you need to check out TVParty.com. It is the BOMB. It has TONS of sections for classic TV fans, even a Good Times section featuring RealPlayer clips of the show. It also features an Amos 'n Andy section that IMHO is a MUST SEE! Includes kids shows such as Romper Room and Wonderama, even the once-popular show ZOOM! If you have RealPlayer, you gotta see it. Oh, and did I mention it even features a Game Shows '74 section, and a clip of Casey Kasem cussing his brains out live on the radio.

Check it out and lemme know whatcha think.

Not from what I can see, although they do have a section on the show "Wild Wild West" in the Mysteries and Scandals section.

ALSOOOOOO.....

They have a section of Variety shows, including the Richard Pryor show, the Lola Falana Show, the Redd Foxx show, and the New Bill Cosby show, with a cool opening clip featuring the intro with who? Lola Falana. Y'see, nowadays everybody gets their own talk show, but back then everybody had a variety show.

Mysteries and scandals, network promos, even a clip of the Flintstones promoting Winston cigarettes on TV. Check it out!!!!

It's got more stuff than I have time to write it all, it's all that!

Talking

Currently, at TVParty.com...

There is an article on What's Happening [Now], it's origins, how it did in the ratings, the stars mood swings, etc.

Did you know that the reason for Good Times, the Jeffersons, and What's Happening was due to a young black man named Eric Monte, who was portrayed by Glynn Turman in a movie called COOLEY HIGH. He was an aspiring Hollywood writer who made it big. So yes, the next time you reminisce on those shows, give Eric a shout-out for making it all possible.

OH, and I found the clip I was looking for. This is the Romper Room clip where Miss Molly was in a very serious discussion with a kid on gun safety. This kid thinks he knows how to handle a gun when the truth is, he doesn't!! Do you think this is a precursor to all the deaths attributed to youths and guns?
