Alpha Phi Omega Paraphanelia

Wassup frat brothers! I just recently purchased a paddle with my line name, number, chapter, and crossing year on it. I also purchased a couple of other items such as an Alpha Phi Omega handpainted figurine, and a picture with a poem about Alpha Phi Omega with the golden eagle in the background. I got all this for $30.00 (the paddle was free for me).

Anyway, to get to the point, I know this lady who can do all these things and some other things too for any greek organization or even the Masonic or Eastern Stars. Her web address is Greek Nalia

Her email address is dellharris_30286@yahoo.com and her number is 706-647-2829.

Check these things out. She has some banging stuff on there for all greeks including Alpha Phi Omega and Gamma Sigma Sigma. She can do it all.

Damn, I meant to call you and tell you today, but I had too much going on. I am sure that she is going to be back. I mean I put her contact information on there.

dominic goodman,

im just curious, after every post you have

1-1-1-1 9 22222222 5!

after every post. is that a call that you do on your campus?

i'm asking because if you say it the way that you have it written out, it resembles the call that the Alpha's use.

And on MY campus (and Howard), we say "Phi Que....Two Five."

Yes it's similar in cadence, but the words are different. Just like Blue Phi...You Know.....Z Phi...So Sweet....etc, etc

I thought the term "AyPhiQue" was used for memebrs at HBCU's. I don't know if I'm correct but isn't Georgetown a HWI, so would they use A Phi O???

Senusret is black at an HWI, but one who knows the traditions of the HBUCs better than most.

Georgetown's chapter (Mu Alpha) is sort of odd in that although it is at an HWI, its pledging traditions are probably closer to Howard U than to U of Maryland. Pledges are on line, the order of the pledge line *does* matter and their alumni come back en masse (in some cases from many states away) for initiation. They do use APO, but I think as Sunusret has gotten involved with both the extension at Howard and Alpha Phi Alpha, he tends to use the HBCU terminology more.

"A Phi Que" is what we are known as among black people in general. When we go to the Greek store on Georgia Avenue, we say APO and they still call us A Phi Que. When we (black people) pledged and then went home for break, our family members and people in our community called us A Phi Que.

APO remained our nickname. Phi Que....2-5 became our call to those of us who wanted one. Those people were initially black, but it is used by people of all races now.

Randy, Mu Alpha Brothers have been using that call for years before Zeta Phi's extension effort, which began in 2002. I became an Alpha in 2003.

Sorry to cool down the flame, but this thread was originally about checking out some greek paraphanelia. One thing about this forum is that people always tend to go off the subject matter.

Can we all just get along? Yes, A Phi Que are our letters, but remember we still are a greek family together.

Correction, ALPHA PHI OMEGA is our letters. Not A Phi Que.

What are you correcting? I said nowhere in my post that A Phi Que was ANYBODY's letters. It is a nickname.

My membership certificate says March 20, 1999.....what does yours say?

Thanks Attractive! I meant to quote GoldnBlue2004. But for the record, my card says I'm a Brother of Psi Phi! T.I.T.A!
