Once again it's that week where it rains in Southern California
And there's nearly 100 seperate auto accidents out there already.
Nor Cal drivers: We KNOW you know how to drive in the rain. Please take caution and slow down JUST A LIL BIT.
So Cal drivers: You don't have to drive 65 in the fast lane just because there's less than a half inch of rain out there. Learn how to accelerate while having enough car lengths in front of you to make a proper stop if necessary.
Los Angeles Drivers: Keep it up....at least you know the happy medium.

Well Rudey, it's supposed to get sunny here again in a couple of days for about a week according to the weather channel. So you can continue wishing soon.

Theres an easy solution to that you know...forget the Midwest move to so cal
Suprisingly my commute this morning wasnt as bad as the 11 pm news tried to make it last night. But there was the idiot truck driver who didnt understand the concept of yielding at a red light when its not green for you. Almost plowed into the f*cker in my new car! Bastard and of course he was talking on his cell phone

Add to all this that people think these days that yellow means speed up and not slow down.....
BTW, have you ever noticed how even creepier TJ looks when you're driving towards it at night? You just see this big land mass ahead of you and you KNOW it's NOT the United States....and you wonder how many Donkey Shows and tranvestite strippers are in full force at that time.....

There's an occasional aberration.

Yeah WTF ??!! I went down there this weekend... to follow the sun...even though it has been nice up north.. I get to Santa Monica and it's beautiful ALL saturday hanging out at the beach, we go eat at Cheesecake Factory in the grove, and when we come out everything is SOAKED... and the next day it was rainy too and ruined our plans for Disney. I got back to San Fran.. it was 73... go figure...

It's really scary outside my window right now. The clouds over the Santa Monica mountains are black and the pacific ocean can't be distinguished from the cloud cover.
Add the thunder and lightning, which we never usually have, and this is one fine storm...

Ugh. The concrete at SDSU is so uneven that we get these enormous puddles when it rains...it's such a pain. I sure hope our rainy season isn't as bad as it was last year!

Especially when walking by the music building and theater, past Adams and in front of East Commons.
And you'd think they would have filled in those cement blocks around the dome with the names on it so you dont sink or slip when walking on them.
Thank God I only have work today and don't have classs... parking in PS5 would have sucked today....though I park there on Tues Thurs so its even worse.

YES! I had a class in ENS 280 today and totally got the bottom of my pants soaked when I hit a couple of those "surprise" dips in front of the theater. At least they rope off the huge lake-thing that forms beneath the Freedom steps...

They roped it off? Finally. You'd think of ALL places, the spot where thousands of students cross everyday would be safe and not puddle-prone.
You have a class in ENS 280? I'm SO Sorry. I had Comm 300 in that 300 seat room.....mix McDaniel's monotone voice and the comfortability of knowing you won't get caught in a 300 seat room, it was hard to stay up in that class.
