Loving Your Music

I was just wondering if anyone else ever felt this way (or is it a case of "honeychile gets the blues")?

Have you ever loved a band, or a song, or a certain cd, or whatever and just loved it so much, you choked up when you heard it or tried to sing it?

I seem to get this at the stupidest times. As in, I lost a part for which I was trying in "You're A Good Man, Charlie Brown" because I can't sing "The Happiness Song". Earlier tonight, during American Dreams, I heard one of my favorite songs, "In My Life" and puddled up. Some of it is obvious (like wondering why John Lennon died so young), but is this something weird with me, or does anyone else do it?

Oh, I'm not even counting sorority songs! I think we all do that!!

I've done this since I was five or six... I'm a really emotional person by nature, and I cry at the drop of a hat, so it's not all that weird for me to cry when I hear certain songs... regardless, it does happen to me with a handful of songs... none of which I will name because they're all just so dorky

Honeychile, I saw American Dreams tonight also. I found the earlier rendition of "In My Life", from earlier this season more emotional than tonight's. As for me, there's a song that a Canadian singer sings, called "He Will Be Sixteen" that brings me to tears all the time. Another one is a song called "A Dozen Red Roses". I don't remember who sings that one though.
