Inspirational
I know this could technically be for the "entertainment" section of things-so, if the Mods would like to move this, please feel free.
I wanted to get some feedback and possibly help out other members on GC with this thread.
Many of us are in Graduate school, law school, medical school, the military, on sports teams, preparing for recruitment (pretty much anything you might need some words of encouragement for). I got a really great idea from a Professor today. He said that you should watch an inspirational movie!
For those of us preparing for finals-this is great advice! For those of us preparing for rush (most likely next semester) or a big game-this is great advice! Even if you are job hunting and preparing for that big interview-an inspirational movie might do the trick to get you amped up and feel as though YOU ROCK and YOU CAN DO IT!!!
So, I want everyone to give an opinion. The more-the better!!!
What movies inspire you? What movies amp you up before that big game or give you the inspiration to think-"I can do that, too!" It doesn't have to be work, sports or school related.
I, for one, am partial to the movie "The Express" about Ernie Davis (the first African American to win the Heisman-he was also Greek, as well). I'm partial because my boyfriend attends school there...but I think it has a great message!
